Tips from Mrs. Thackeray:- Find a quiet place free from distractions.
- Schedule a time each day/week to practice. - Take time to warm-up: breathing exercises, mouthpiece work, long tones. - Review things we played in class. - Work on things you struggle with. - If you mess up, try playing it slower until you get it right. - Learn something new, like a song you've always wanted to play. - Work hard AND have fun. |
